Our Food Philosophy

1. What Is Biblically Clean Cuisine?

We follow Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, eating only animals deemed “clean”—those with split hooves and that chew the cud, and fish with fins and scales.

Pork, shellfish, and unclean creatures are strictly prohibited.

While some believe New Testament passages like Mark 7:19 set aside these laws, we align with the view that clean eating still matters for God-honoring obedience, health, and spiritual identity.

2. Why We Serve This Way
This isn't about food guilt—it’s about intentional obedience, stewardship, and honoring the Creator.

By avoiding items flagged as unclean, we align each bite with Biblical wisdom—and cultivate daily reminders of purpose, discipline, and gratitude.

3. Ingredient Integrity & Ethical Sourcing

We source all meats from ranches that graze naturally, avoiding antibiotics and grain-heavy feed. Vegetables and produce come from trusted local farms around Canyon Lake, San Antonio, & New Braunfels.

No pork, shellfish, or seed oils; only whole ingredients, honest fats (olive, avocado, tallow), and handmade sauces.

4. A Culinary Journey of Cultural Fusion

Every menu blends Chef Sabrina’s Detroit upbringing with Houston flavors, LA innovation, Austin’s vibe, and Canyon Lake’s local harvest. We honor regional roots while crafting dishes that resonate with today’s palate—vibrant, biblically centered, and uncommonly memorable.

5. Your Experience at Eclectic Catering

We’re not just feeding you—we’re inviting you into a story. Each meal is framed by a narration of regional ties and personal faith behind clean cooking. Expect vibrant flavor and spiritual intentionality at every table.
